I miss…
Standing up to hug Michael
Dancing with Michael
Going on dates with Michael
Taking my kids to school
Helping out at school
Baking for my family
Going out with my friends
Taking pictures the way I want and not from a wheelchair eye level
Having fun with my kids and sitting on the sidelines in a wheelchair
Typing at a regular speed
Getting up to get something I need
Going to the bathroom when I want
Taking a bath when I want
Walking and not having to be carried everywhere
Organizing the kids rooms
Driving
Swimming
Helping people and not having people have to help me
Getting dressed myself
Going to the bathroom myself
Having dignity
Not feeling well
Not being in pain
Not feeling overwhelmed
Standing up and not having to sit on the couch 16 hours a day feeling like a piece of furniture
Feeling happy and content
Life as it should have been

I miss all that too! XO XO XO
Trina,
You help me because you give me the hope of having a beautiful marriage and kids one day…and you do that without walking…
Your pictures are perfect and unique from the vantage point you have…
You have a dignity and grace that I can only aspire to…There is no indignity in needing help and care…We all do or will at some point.
Love you!
Chris *sigh* it was just one of those days
Thank you for sharing the love XOXO
Alex-
Thank you for your kind words. The saying is “handicap people can do anything anyone else can do. They just need to figure out a different way to do it.” It just gets hard sometimes doing it. And no we can’t do everything we want and that has been hard to deal with lately for me. My limitations are being limited and I not likey. XOXO I’m feeling low low low low low- like the song.. lol
